CHALLENGE THE DRAFT

A credible standard needs people willing to find its weaknesses.

We welcome focused input from researchers, practitioners and specialists whose expertise can test the evidence, requirements or assessment methodology.

If something is scientifically weak, ambiguous, unrealistic to implement, difficult to assess or easy to game, we want to know.

The Working Group is already underway, but specialist external review remains valuable.

SUPPORT THE STANDARD

PUT YOUR NAME BEHIND THE IDEA.

Companies ask people to speak up.

We believe organizations should also be accountable for what happens next.

If you believe psychological safety should be supported by clear, measurable organizational requirements - rather than individual courage alone - add your name in support of the standard.

You’ll receive a Vanguard Voices Standard Supporter digital badge via VirtualBadge that you can share on LinkedIn.

This badge is a statement of support for the development of the standard. It is not certification, accreditation or a professional credential.

BOOK JESSICA TO SPEAK

Companies spend enormous energy encouraging people to speak up.

Jessica Bensch asks a different question:

What is the organization required to do once they do?

Drawing on more than 25 years inside large organizations and the work behind Vanguard Voices, Jessica speaks about organizational silence, accountability and why psychological safety cannot depend on individual courage.

Her talks explore what happens after someone raises a concern, challenges a decision or says what others would rather not hear - and what it would mean to make organizational response measurable.

Available for conferences, leadership meetings, company events and executive sessions.

THE VANGUARD VOICE

For founders, practitioners, researchers and people responsible for what happens after someone speaks up.

PILOT THE STANDARD

LET THE DRAFT MEET REALITY.

Before wider certification begins, the framework and assessment methodology need to be tested inside real organizations.

The purpose of a pilot is to find what doesn't work: unclear requirements, weak evidence, inconsistent assessment or ways an organization could appear compliant without meaningful change.

A pilot is not certification.

If your organization may be interested in helping test the first version, register your interest.

The Speak Up Summit

In 2024, Vanguard Voices hosted the Speak Up Summit, bringing together leaders, practitioners and advocates to examine psychological safety, speaking up and organizational silence.

Those conversations helped sharpen the question at the centre of the work today: What should happen after someone speaks up?
